We are an Amish Mennonite congregation in rural Hutchinson, Kansas. Our goal is to follow Jesus and share his love with the people around us. The congregation was founded in 1958 by a group of families who had a vision for studying Scripture and a heart for missions.
Center Church sponsors Hands of Christ, a ministry seeking to share Christ's love through service and friendship in Hutchinson. We also cosponsor Pilgrim Christian, a private K-12 school of 100 students located in Pleasantview.

We envision a lighthouse of truth and refuge of hope and grace for our community and beyond, a loving family for all, and a nurturing fellowship that motivates Spirit-filled members to imitate Christ in everyday holy living.

Seeking, embracing, and propagating the life of Jesus.
To this end, Center leads its members into a joyful, abiding walk with God, sponsors Christian education and church-planting endeavors, and equips its members to reproduce their faith in the unchurched and to serve the disadvantaged.
Grace
The grace of God leads people to salvation, transformation of life, and perseverance in faith.
Scripture
The Bible leads people to Christ, grounds in truth, guides in life, and brings believers to maturity.
Devotion
Following Christ involves a personal, passionate surrender to God and sensitivity to His Spirit.
Obedience
Our love for God results in daily, ordinary living by faith in and submission to Him.
Brotherhood
The family of God, marked by love, submission, and transparency, nurtures and shapes our lives.
Missions
The disciples of Christ complete His work of preaching the Gospel and serving humanity.
Separation
God’s people will be the minority and out of sync with the dominant culture.
Sacrificial Love
We fight evil through sacrificial love and redemptive, prophetic presence as Christ did.
Family
Marriage is the union of one man and one woman for life and children are a blessing from God.
Stewardship
We manage, share, and enjoy God’s gifts – life, talents, the Gospel, possessions, et cetera.
